Barn Manager
Kleiton was born and raised in Brazil, where in 2006 he graduated as a veterinarian. He developed his career as an equine clinician and has extensive experience with show jumping horses, having worked at Hípica Paulista in São Paulo, Brazil, and at Quarter Horse events, treating barrel racing horses. Kleiton also practiced equine dentistry. Besides his deep passion for horses, Kleiton’s love for animals reaches underwater and he became a Scuba Dive Instructor to interact with sea animals at the bottom of the sea and to share his love for animals and also his passion for animal conservation with his scuba dive students.
Kleiton is honored to work as barn manager at the South Florida SPCA, caring for and treating all the animals as his own, indirectly fulfilling his childhood dream to have his own horses by acting as a trusted custodian for our rescued animals while they await for someone to adopt and love them.
