Thirteen new rescues this week raise number of horses in SFSPCA care to 78

In two separate incidents yesterday, South Florida SPCA took in seven more horses. Six horses were found dumped along a canal in SW Miami-Dade. One horse was taken in temporarily by a kind person who looked everywhere for an owner but could not keep him. All seven horses (including a mini not pictured), are recovering at our rescue ranch. We have rescued 13 horses over the past week, bringing the total number of horses in our care to an incredible 78!

HOW TO HELP

If you have room in your heart and your barn, please adopt a horse from us. We have many quality horses that have been restored to health, and are ready for their forever homes. Click here to visit our adoption page.

The average cost to us for each horse is $500 per month. This month, we must raise $39,000 to care for them all. If you can help financially, click here to donate.

Thank you for your support!
