My Story

Macy is a sweet and gentle mare who we rescued after she was found walking stray in Homestead. When her owner was later located, they made the compassionate decision to release ownership, recognizing they were unable to provide the veterinary care Macy needed.

With her calm demeanor and affectionate personality, Macy is wonderful to be around and a favorite among volunteers.
