My Story

Wooden Cry, aka Woody, is a senior mare with a gentle spirit and surprisingly good energy for her age. She was seized in a cruelty case alongside two stallions, Amigo and Gulliver, and arrived at the rescue severely underweight and neglected.

After months of care and rehabilitation, she’s now healthy and ready for a fresh start. Woody enjoys attention and has been taken on trail rides, where she showed a steady, willing attitude. She’s not spooky and handles new environments well.
