My Story

Bis Golden Glory, AKA Chanel, is an off-track thoroughbred mare. Chanel is a barn favorite because she is such an intelligent mare, who loves to learn new things. She has been taught many behaviors, including how to paint.

She is well mannered on cross ties and is easy to handle. She is a forward thinker who offers three comfortable gaits.

Due to her young age; she will benefit from additional training. Chanel will be best matched with an intermediate/experienced rider capable of honing her natural abilities.

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is where almost all our horses and livestock start in the rescue process. Because most of our horses and livestock come in starved and neglected, our first order of business is to bring them back to good health.

Every horse, and all livestock are individuals, and their level of starvation or neglect at intake is equally individual. There is no way to know exactly how long a horse or the livestock will remain in rehabilitation. Once our animals are in good health, they become available for adoption and rehoming.
